Graham Williams from Waterlooville, Hampshire got the surprise of his life when he was told that he had won npower's 2007 Club Wembley competition and would be able to watch all major events at the new Wembley Stadium until 2018 from his very own seats.

Mr Williams had entered the competition organised by npower, Official Energy Supplier to Wembley Stadium, to win a pair of Club Wembley seats (worth approximately £85,000) for the next ten years.

Club Wembley is an exclusive area within the new Wembley Stadium with its own entrance, cafes, bars and restaurant. The seats Mr Williams will occupy are some of the best located seats in the stadium. They are wide, padded and have more leg room than the seats in the old Royal Box. Mr William's prize entitles him to use his Club Wembley seats for all major sporting events at the new Stadium including The FA Cup Final, The Football League Cup Final, The Rugby Football League Challenge Cup Final, The FA Community Shield and all of England's home games until 2018. He also has first option on tickets for all concerts and The Football League Play-Offs.

A delighted Mr Williams said:

"I couldn't believe it when I heard I had won. I'd never been to Wembley before so I decided to enter npower's competition online when I was switching my electricity to them. It's an amazing prize - I love football and support Portsmouth, but to actually have the chance to be at the next ten FA Cup Finals is incredible. I just hope Portsmouth make it to the final too. It's already made me very popular with my family, particularly my grandson. He loves watching England play and can't wait to see his hero Wayne Rooney"

Kevin Peake, head of customer marketing at npower said:

"This is a fantastic prize and many congratulations to Graham on being the lucky winner. We are very proud our association with the new Wembley Stadium, it is the most exciting place to watch football in the world."

Tom Halsey, head of sponsorship at Wembley Stadium said:

"We are delighted for Mr Williams and we are sure he will enjoy his many visits to Wembley Stadium. For a football fan this has got to be the ultimate prize and as a Club Wembley member he can look forward to ten years of fantastic events at the stadium."

npower exclusively supplies electricity to power the 90,000 seater Wembley Stadium under a renewable electricity deal. As a result, Wembley Stadium electricity consumption is matched by green energy purchased by npower.
