It has been announced that, for the sixth consecutive year, the Capital Summertime Ball will be held at Wembley Stadium.

Last year's epic event saw performances from Pharrell, Cheryl, Calvin Harris and 5 Seconds of Summer amongst others.

Miley Cyrus unleashed giant rubber ducks into the crowd much to the delight of the 80,000 in attendance before David Guetta closed the day long event with a set which shook Wembley to its core.

Capital FM will reveal the acts to perform this year's event throughout the course of this week live on air before tickets go on general sale on Friday.

However Capital VIP and Vodaphone presales will begin on Wednesday 29 April.
