The Jacksonville Jaguars are set to continue their commitment to London by hosting 100 children for an ultimate sleepover at Wembley Stadium connected by EE before providing the beds to disadvantaged children in the capital.

Teaming up with American partner Ashley Furniture HomeStores and UK charity Kids Company the Jaguars are shipping over 100 beds for the sleepover taking place on August 30^th in the iconic venue’s Great Hall.

Some of the children attending will have the beds delivered to their homes the very next day while the rest of the beds will be distributed by Kids Company to the most in need households in London.

The event is an expansion of Ashley Furniture HomeStores’ ‘A Hope to Dream’ programme which last year saw 50 underprivileged children sleepover at the Jaguars’ EverBank Field before having the beds delivered to their homes.

This year the sleepover will be even bigger with 100 children benefitting both in Florida and London – continuing the commitment the Jaguars have to the capital after agreeing to play four annual home games at Wembley Stadium from 2013-2016.

Jaguars coach Gus Bradley, along with his wife Michaela and children, also slept over at the event last year and having seen the good of the programme he was delighted to be expanding it to London.

“My family and I are honoured to be a part of the ‘A Hope to Dream’ programme,” he said.

“As a coach, I know a good night’s sleep is the critical building block to good health and to having a hope of achieving in life. My wife and my children and I were just overcome with emotion at last year’s sleepover.

“You have never seen such joy as when we told those children that from now on they would sleep in a bed—in their own bed—and the chance to expand the program to our fans in London—it’s going to be amazing!”

The Jaguars will be heading to London for a mouth-watering clash with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday 9^th November with the game already an 84,000 sell-out.
