Eminem wows Wembley
Fans lost themselves in the music and the moment as the real Slim Shady undoubtedly stood up during two incredible nights at Wembley.
From the moment the Detroit-born rapper made his spectacular entrance to the stage the crowd were left in no doubt they would be treated to something very special.
By the time Eminem reached the mid-point of his set fans were, no doubt, beginning to wonder how much better things could get having been treated to many of his biggest hits and some impressive pyrotechnics.
But there was a surprise in store and if Wembley had a roof it would certainly have come off as Dr Dre unexpectedly took to the stage to perform four huge songs alongside the headline act.
Once Dre departed Eminem went on to show that when you have been around for over 20 years, you develop something of a substantial back catalogue.
The 41-year-old hip-hop star delved into the archives to deliver some classic tracks such as ‘The Real Slim Shady’, ‘My Name Is’ and ‘Without Me’.
But he still saved one of his biggest hits for the encore closing with the 2002 Academy Award winning ‘Lose Yourself’ a fittingly huge song to end awe-inspiring show.
During the evening Eminem sported a union jack t-shirt and told the crowd "London I missed you".
Let’s hope his love affair with the city continues and we have him back soon for more high-quality entertainment.
