What's On At Wembley
Wembley’s 2012/13 football season comes to a close this Wednesday as England take on Republic of Ireland in an international match. Later this week Wembley will host the International Stadiums Poker Tour, its first ever poker tournament, from Friday for five days.
But that’s not all! Rock legends Journey and Whitesnake are at Wembley Arena on Wednesday.

Wembley Stadium: England welcomes Republic of Ireland to Wembley for the first time since 1991. It may be a friendly but with so many familiar faces both teams will want to win this one as they prepare for important World Cup qualifiers on the horizon, so expect an exciting game. Wembley Arena: Journey and Whitesnake are set to appear onstage together for the first time ever. Journey, one of the most popular American rock bands of all time, are responsible for creating some of the best-known songs in modern music such as ‘Don’t Stop Believin’’. Co-headlininers Whitesnake carry a rightful and righteous reputation as one of the world’s leading rock’n’roll bands. Founded and formed by Deep Purple singer David Coverdale, the band have earned multi-platinum albums and multiple top 10 hits worldwide,including two number one singles with ‘Here I Go Again’ and ‘Is This Love’.
