Recently we ran a competition on Twitter for fans to vote on who they would like to see to zip wire first across the Wembley pitch. Battling it out were Chris Wolstenholme from Muse and TV presenter Tim Lovejoy. Chris won and so at 11am today he launched the Wembley Tours zip wire experience.

You can also share the same experience as our lucky celebrities and take part in the Wembley Zip Wire Tour by purchasing tickets at www.wembleystadium.com/tours or calling 0844 800 2755. Tickets cost £40 for adults and £30 for those aged 12-16. This unique tour runs from 27 August – 2 September and is available for those aged 12 and over*.

Visitors for the Wembley zip wire experience will also receive a behind-the-scenes tour of the stadium where they will be able to enjoy the Exhibition of Champions, the England changing rooms, players’ tunnel and Wembley’s famous Royal Box.
