England U21 V Austria U21

England Men's U21 Fixture

England men’s under-21s will take on Austria at Luton Town FC this September in an U21 International at Kenilworth Stadium.

The game will take place on Monday 9 September (7.45pm BST), following on from England's UEFA U21 EURO qualifying game in Northern Ireland on Friday 6 September and will be the Young Lions’ first home fixture since their 7-0 win over Luxembourg at Bolton Wanderers FC in March.

Lee Carsley’s team currently sit joint top of Group F alongside Ukraine in the race for next summer’s U21 EURO Finals in Slovakia, with this game providing the head coach with a chance to continue preparing for October’s home double against Ukraine and Azerbaijan.

The MU21s’ last game at Kenilworth Stadium came back in February 1993, when England beat San Marino by 6-0 with goals coming from Richard Hall, Darren Anderton, Garry Flitcroft, Mike Sheron, Jamie Redknapp and Steve McManaman.

Tickets for the game cost £15 for adults or £10 for Luton Town season ticket holders and members and concessions (66+, U22 & U17) are £7.50 or £5 for Luton Town season ticket holders and members.
